About Clarke Landscaping

Founded in 1996 by Managing Director Gareth Clarke, G Clarke Landscaping has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance and property services across Yorkshire and the North of England.

Before establishing the business, Gareth studied at the Lancashire College of Agriculture & Horticulture before gaining valuable industry experience as a groundsman at Cardiff Arms Park. He also worked within the wholesale nursery trade and later shared his knowledge by lecturing in Amenity Horticulture and Countryside Skills at a local college.

Since its formation, the company has grown steadily and now employs a dedicated team of full-time staff, supported by trusted seasonal operatives and a network of carefully selected local suppliers and specialist contractors.

Quality workmanship, reliability and attention to detail have been at the heart of our business from day one. Every project is managed to the same high standards, with any specialist subcontractors working under the direct supervision of a G Clarke Landscaping Project Manager to ensure consistency, quality and accountability throughout.

We’re committed to maintaining the highest professional standards and hold recognised industry accreditations, including Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and certification through both the SafeContractor and CHAS schemes. We also continue to invest in training, with our teams working towards relevant CSCS and CPCS qualifications.
